Babies are ready to embrace new experiences and enjoy communication and interaction. Yoga provides the stimulation of touch, movement and rhythm as well as the stillness of deep relaxation. Baby Yoga:
Strengthens both baby and parent’s bodies
Helps babies move from reflexes to voluntary movements
Improves digestion (and can provide relief from colic)
Helps settle babies and can improve their sleep pattern
Balances the body systems
Stimulates the senses.
But apart from all of the above it is a really fun activity that parent and baby can enjoy together.
